Synbus is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, automate application deployments, and improve the reliability, security, and performance of production systems. You will collaborate with developers and AI automation engineers to build efficient CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure, maintain server environments, and implement monitoring and security practices. The ideal candidate has practical experience with Linux, Docker, cloud platforms, deployment automation, networking, and infrastructure troubleshooting. You will help support modern web applications, API services, databases, and AI-powered automation systems while ensuring stable and scalable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based application infrastructure.
- CI/CD Automation: Build and manage automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Containerization: Develop and maintain Docker-based application environments and container deployment workflows.
- Server Administration: Configure and maintain Linux servers, web servers, and application environments.
- Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using appropriate IaC tools.
- Application Deployment: Support deployment of Next.js, Node.js, backend APIs, and database-connected applications.
- Monitoring and Observability: Implement system monitoring, centralized logging, alerts, and performance analysis.
- Security: Configure network access, manage credentials and secrets, and apply secure infrastructure practices.
- Database Operations: Support database deployment, backups, recovery procedures, and operational monitoring.
- Performance Optimization: Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and improve availability, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot production incidents, document root causes, and implement preventative improvements.
- Automation Infrastructure: Support reliable hosting and maintenance of n8n and other automation services.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and command-line tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or comparable infrastructure platforms.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, HTTPS, reverse proxies, and SSL/TLS certificates.
- Experience managing application deployments and production environments.
- Familiarity with Nginx, database services, and server performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security, backups, disaster recovery, and access management.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and technical documentation skill
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with Vercel, Supabase, and modern serverless hosting solutions.
- Knowledge of Cloudflare, CDN configuration, and web application firewalls.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or other observability platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience managing self-hosted n8n environments and AI application infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Redis, PostgreSQL, database replication, and caching.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization and infrastructure capacity planning.
- Experience implementing automated security scanning and deployment safeguards.
