Synbus is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to create performant, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for business clients. You will build cross-platform applications using React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript while integrating APIs, authentication services, mobile platform features, and cloud-based backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of React Native development, mobile UI implementation, application state management, debugging, and production deployment. You will collaborate with frontend developers, backend engineers, and UI/UX designers to deliver consistent mobile experiences across Android and iOS devices.
Responsibilities
- React Native Development: Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Mobile UI Development: Translate Figma designs into reusable, responsive mobile components.
- Navigation and State: Implement application navigation, state management, and predictable data workflows.
- API Integration: Connect applications to REST APIs, authentication providers, and backend services.
- Native Integrations: Implement platform-specific functionality using supported React Native packages and native modules.
- Performance Optimization: Improve rendering performance, memory efficiency, startup speed, and application stability.
- Testing: Write unit and component tests and support integration and device testing.
- Application Security: Implement secure token handling, protected storage, and appropriate authentication flows.
- Build and Release: Manage Android and iOS builds, environment configuration, and app store deployments.
- Maintenance: Resolve bugs, update dependencies, and improve production application reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional React Native development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and React Native.
- Experience developing applications for Android and iOS.
- Understanding of React hooks, components, navigation, and mobile application lifecycle.
- Experience with React Navigation, Expo Router, or comparable navigation solutions.
- Familiarity with Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar state management approaches.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and authentication services.
- Understanding of mobile performance optimization and responsive interface development.
- Knowledge of Git, debugging tools, and production release workflows.
- Portfolio or published applications demonstrating React Native development experience.
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with Expo, Expo Application Services (EAS), and native React Native workflows.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, and cloud-based backend services.
- Experience with native Android and iOS modules.
- Knowledge of React Native Reanimated and advanced mobile animations.
- Familiarity with mobile payment integrations and subscription systems.
- Experience with automated testing using Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows for mobile app releases.
- Experience integrating AI-powered APIs or real-time application features.
