Synbus is looking for a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer to build, customize, and maintain high-performance web applications and business platforms using modern frontend and backend technologies. In this role, you will develop scalable web solutions using backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django (Python), and Laravel (PHP), while integrating responsive frontend interfaces, databases, APIs, and third-party services. The ideal candidate has strong experience in backend application development, a solid understanding of frontend technologies, and the ability to design secure, maintainable software architectures. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and AI automation specialists to develop reliable digital solutions for local and international clients. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of technical challenges, writes clean and maintainable code, and can adapt to different technology stacks based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
  • Backend Development: Build reliable server-side applications using Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, and PHP/Laravel according to project requirements.
  • Frontend Development: Develop responsive, interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • API Development: Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
  • Database Architecture: Design and optimize relational databases, queries, migrations, and data models using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent technologies.
  • Authentication and Security: Implement secure authentication, role-based access controls, authorization, and application security best practices.
  • Application Architecture: Develop reusable modules, maintainable code structures, and scalable backend services.
  • System Integrations: Integrate payment gateways, CRM platforms, marketing systems, automation tools, and external business applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize database queries, caching, server-side processing, and application response times.
  • Testing and Debugging: Write automated tests, troubleshoot application errors, and maintain reliable production systems.
  • Deployment and Maintenance: Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications, manage environments, and support production updates.
  • Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and follow secure coding standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full stack or backend web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following backend frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Django, or Laravel, with willingness to work across multiple technology stacks.
  • Practical experience with Ruby, Python, or PHP and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern responsive frontend development.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational database management systems.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture, database relationships, ORM frameworks, and application design patterns.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, session management, and web application security.
  • Experience using Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based hosting environments, web servers, and application deployment processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing application performance.
  • Understanding of automated testing, debugging, and software development best practices.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and collaborate effectively in a remote development environment.

  • Ruby on Rails: Experience with Active Record, background jobs, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Rails API development.
  • Django: Familiarity with Django REST Framework, Django ORM, Celery, and asynchronous task processing.

  • Payment Integrations: Experience implementing Stripe, PayPal, or other payment gateway services.
  • AI Integrations: Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI-powered APIs into web applications.
  • Automation: Familiarity with n8n and API-driven business workflow automation.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with PHPUnit, Pest, pytest, RSpec, or equivalent automated testing tools.
  • Software Architecture: Understanding of service-oriented architectures, scalable backend systems, and application monitoring.
  • Security: Familiarity with OWASP security recommendations and secure API design.
  • Business Applications: Experience developing SaaS platforms, CRM systems, e-commerce applications, dashboards, or custom business management systems.
